This program is focused on providing professional knowledge for the semiconductor industry and for the development of electronic devices. A major objective is to allow students to obtain the required knowledge and skills for integrated circuit applications in the future development of electronics technology.  Courses are offered in semiconductor physics and devices, solid-state electronics, integrated circuit manufacturing technology, semiconductor/electronics materials, semiconductor laboratory, compound semiconductor devices, microwave power devices, optoelectronic devices, semiconductor manufacturing simulation and device modeling technology, electronic device manufacturing technology, and device measuring and testing technologies, etc. In addition, students are expected to acquire basic education in integrated circuit applications. Equal emphasis is given to theory and practice through semiconductor laboratory and electronic device testing, measurement and simulation laboratory courses. At the same time, knowledge regarding integrated circuit products and modern technological trends is strengthened.
